Craig Gillespie
Youth Choir Leader

Craig directs our Youth Choir, for young people in 5th through 8th grade. He has been a musician in various capacities most of his life, becoming interested in bass (orchestral and bass-guitar), guitar, choral singing and musical theatre in high school.
Though majoring and graduating with an English Literature major from Dickinson College, Craig was the tenor section leader for the chancel choir and studied classical guitar for most of his four years there.
Having since developed an interest in song writing and acquiring two graduate degrees in the human services field, Craig now works as a Licensed Professional Counselor at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health, in Westport, where he coordinates treatment on the adult units, working closely with psychiatrists and other clinicians. In recent years Craig has greatly enjoyed leading the youth music in spring "Story Tent" productions, and has been in active participant in monthly Contemporary Services, as well as summer Compo Beach Services led by Saugatuck.
