Bible Study

When: Wednesdays, September – June, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Where: Fellowship Room

Join Transition Minister Howie Tobak for our seminar-style Bible study. Each week a set of passages is explored using the tools of modern Biblical scholarship, including literary and historical criticism. Through presentation and group discussion, the relevancy of each passage for modern life is examined. All are welcome — no prior experience is necessary.

Bible Study classes are on break for the summer, and will resume in September.

Prayer Group & Prayer Shawl Ministry

When: Wednesdays, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Where: Fellowship Room

The Prayer Group meets on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Room from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM. We have a meditation, a prayer request time when we light candles for loved ones and friends who need extra prayers, and also knit. We join our time to make shawls filled with loving and healing prayers for those who are having difficult periods in their lives or for special celebrations. It is a joy to knit a prayer shawl, a joy to give one and also a joy to receive one. So come and join us… no prior skills are needed, just a willingness to join us in prayer and companionship.

Saugatuck Congregational Church Tuesday Morning Crafters

Tuesday Morning Crafters

When: Tuesdays, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

This dedicated group works on crafts throughout the year for the pre-holiday sale, with all proceeds going to the church. Their talents include wonderful handcrafted note cards, wreaths, jewelry and Christmas ornaments. Through the years the Crafters have been able to purchase many lovely "extras" for the church, including new carpeting, a freezer and re-upholstering furniture. New crafters are always welcome! Join us 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Tuesday mornings.

After June 29th, the crafters will be on break for the summer, but will resume in September.
