According to Celtic tradition, Thin Places are those locations on earth where the spiritual and the physical world come close together.
In her ongoing Thin Places Project, Westport artist MaryEllen Hendricks experiments with capturing the “thinness” of a place on film. She also records the stories behind them.
An installation of the photos is on display in Hoskins Hall at Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Road East, Westport through October 23.
