June 30 – July 4, General Synod, national gathering of the United Church of Christ. Rev. Alison Patton will serve as a delegate for our Southern New England Conference (in Indianapolis. Learn more here.)

July 2, Sunday, 10 am worship in the Saugatuck Sanctuary and streaming live. Hosted by SCC deacons.

July 9, Sunday, 10 am Worship with Guest Preacher Sarah Graves, Yale Divinity School student.

July 14, Friday – Oyster Boat Tour! Join us for a morning out on the Sound. Learn about the role of oysters in maintaining the health of our coastline, hosted by Dick Harris. This event is free, but space is limited! To register, email Linda Yingling.

July 16, Sunday, 8:30 am Beach Worship – Saugatuck Church hosting, with preaching by Rev. Alison Patton and music by the Pivot Choir

August 27, Second Annual Saugatuck Clam Bake, at the Compo Beach Marina, 5 – 9 pm.

Hosted by Saugatuck Church and Clambake Connections!

Adults: $63 – The clambake consists of a 1 -1/2 lb. lobster, clams, mussels, corn, potatoes, and coleslaw, along with watermelon for dessert.

  • We can substitute Ribeye Steak or BBQ Chicken

Children:  $19 – includes hot dogs, hamburgers, any side dishes from the adult menu, plus watermelon.

Food will be cooked on-site and served buffet style. Tables and chairs are available for your dining convenience. Please bring lawn/sand games if you have them.

This is a BYOB event. Please do not bring glass.

*Non-Westport residents can enter the beach by mentioning the Saugatuck Church Clambake.
